New Stuff On The Site

So there’s a couple new things that went up on the site recently. The Group Ride page is updated with the Wimer and the Flywheel events. The Wimer Honey Badger is a brand new route that straddles Jackson and Josephine counties. It’s a bit like the Juanita Lake Honey Badger in that it’s not very far as the crow flies, but there’s no quick way to get there. The loop is worth the trip though. That ride is scheduled for April 7th. The Flywheel ride is on May 4th and it’s one of the few Saturday rides of the year. there’s three routes for that one and those will be going up on the site tomorrow. All three will leave Talent and cross over the hills to the Little Applegate and then return back to the shop. The longer ones spend more time and distance roaming around the backroads of the Little Applegate.

I added a BuyMeACoffee link at the bottom of the Frequently Asked Questions page. It’s all the way down in the last question. Any money generated will go towards site hosting, fuel for my FJ cruiser I use to scout and clear routes, gas for the chainsaws, flyers that go to the shops, campground rentals for the Juanita Lake campout, the occasional cheap beer for me, and something nice to thank my wife for being patient with me spending so much time up in the woods. I’d love it if eventually it was able to pay a designer to make the rides a logo and then make some schwag like stickers, hats, and t-shirts.

As always, please remember that if you can’t make the scheduled rides, feel free to download the routes and do them whenever it works for your schedule.
