End Of The Year Campout
For 2024, the Juanita Lake Honey Badger Ride will be an official campout. The group site will be booked for Saturday October 5th through Monday October 7th. That means you can show up and stay all the way through Sunday night and call in sick on Monday. No need to climb in your car right after the ride on Sunday is over. The site is able to accommodate up to 50 campers, but probably not that many vehicles, so let’s carpool if we can. If you’re planning on camping at the group site, shoot me an email and let me know. If the group site fills up, there should be plenty of spots left at the regular campsites. Don’t bring firewood from out of the area. It’s how invasive species spread and wind up killing trees. There’s plenty of it down there for us to use. Bring a warm sleeping bag as the nights get pretty chilly at altitude. Keep checking here for more details as the roll in.
