Jenny Creek Honey Badger Parking

This Sunday is the Jenny Creek Honey Badger ride. In previous editions we’ve parked at the intersection of Howard Prairie Dam Rd and Moon Prairie Rd. That spot is great but it’s starting to fill up pretty quickly, especially with cars having to park in the tall grass, which is a fire danger. This year the start/finish for all the routes has been moved to Klum Landing County Park. There’s plenty of parking, toilets, water, and even showers if you want to freshen up after the ride. It’s a day use and campground, so if you want to stay the night either before or after the ride, feel free. There is a fee for day use parking of $4. Camping is first come, first serve and no hookups for RVs. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

  1. Is the start time for Big Elk still 10:00, even with the heat expected this weekend?

    1. Start time is still 10am. I just looked at the weather for Fish Lake on NOAA which is as close to there as I can get a forecast and they are calling for a high in the high 80’s/low 90s.
